- They come across one roamer. Abraham quickly kills it and Michonne comments on how there haven't been many around recently. Rick claims that they're freezing up in the winter, similar to last year.
- They all split up to search the local shops. Andrea finds Rick crying in the backroom of a store. Rick feels ashamed of seeing anyone cry because he's meant to be the strong leader. He tells Andrea that he's always been emotional, during school yard fights and the like. The reason he's crying is Carl, but it's not his injury or memory. Carl doesn't miss his mom, he's moved on. Rick has started to believe that Carl's now become too strong to grieve and he's starting to hate him for that. Andrea is convinced he's faking it to look good in front of Rick but after arriving at Alexandria, Carl has only become worse, and what's the good in keeping him alive, if he's lost his little boy in the process?
