- Day 476
- Olivia tells Rick that they're running low on food. Winter is just beginning and they're going to be very low by the time it fully hits. Rick decides to send some people out on a supply run tomorrow. Maggie catches Rick before he leaves and asks him not to send Glenn out because he's been out enough recently. Rick tells her others like Heath know the area better and so Glenn can stay home.
- Andrea tells Rick that she has a feeling of dread while she's not out in the bell tower and feels like she needs to be even through Abraham's group is out there. Rick tells her he gets that feeling all the time and just then Denise rushes out her house and brings the two inside. Carl had just woken up and started moving around. They rush to his side and Denise settles him from moving too much. Carl wakes up, dazed and confused. He asks what happened to him and where his mom is. He asks who Denise is and she introduces herself as Dr. Denise Cloyd and that he's been shot. Rick hugs Carl and tells him it's going to be ok.
- Rick waits outside while Andrea feeds Carl. He asks Dr. Cloyd how he's going to tell him that his mother died (see day 331). He says he's glad Carl is back, but to get him back and instantly break his heart? Things can never be easy.
