Description:

- Day 475
- Rick and a small group wander around outside the walls planning out where the trenches and maze of cars should go. Eugene suggests they have a trench in front and behind the vehicles seen as they're going to need the dirt anyway, it will take some time through. Rick doesn't care because he wants to be living here when Carl is in his thirties so if it's a good idea, it can take as long as it needs.
- Rick hears gunfire coming from a short distance away and goes to investigate. He finds Andrea teaching another small group how to use firearms while practising on roamers. Maggie and Olivia panic slightly but Andrea prepares them in time for the next wave. Once all the roamers are dead, Andrea takes out the remaining six by herself with ease and dismisses the class.
- Andrea and Rick take a walk around for a bit and Andrea reminisces on the early days when she first started using a gun. She wonders what Shane would think of her abilities. Rick pauses at the thought of Shane and goes on to talk about how he rarely ever thinks of him anymore, despite missing him greatly. He doesn't think about the past as it's too painful, that's not to say he doesn't still miss Lori. He goes on to talk about how unused to looking forward he is to the point where he can't even see Carl surviving his injury (see day 473). For the most part all the decisions he has made were to protect Lori and Carl which Andrea finds understandable but Rick finds inexcusable. Protecting the whole group protects Carl in a better way than he could have through. It's like having the trenches and smaller wall in front of the larger wall they already have. Andrea asks him how sure he is that things are going to go so well? They look out through the gate and Rick just tells her that this is going to work.
- Rick goes to visit Carl again. Andrea tags along with him.
- Abraham locks up the gate and tries speaking to Rosita who tells him to fuck off. Rosita tells Eugene that she's planning on cooking tonight because she hasn't done it in a while. Abraham watches as the two of them walk off together. Aaron asks him if they're still together to which Abraham says that they're not.
