Description:

-Modified the Maastricht Treaty, the Treaty of Rome and the European Constitutional Treaty to better suit modern conditions and situations
-Altered the original 3 pillars of the Masstricht Treaty to establish protocols for a High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and for a member state to leave the EU
-This was an important step for holding the EU more accountable for its actions and giving the EU Parliament more power
