14 h 40 min, 3 nov 2004 ans - The residents of Alexandria single-handedly clear out the herd. (Issue 84)

Description:

- Day 473
- Rick starts killing roamers by himself using only his hatchet.
- Andrea and Spencer contemplate what must be happening inside if they're firing off guns. They meet back up with Heath and Glenn and all make their way back to the gate
- Michonne joins Rick in killing the roamers. She asks if Carl is ok and Rick says he has to be. Meanwhile Denise struggles to stop the bleeding in Carl's eye.
- Michonne wants to go back inside but Rick begs her to help him out, despite the danger.
- Rosita spots Rick and Michonne out the window and alerts Abraham who immediately jumps at the opportunity to help them out, fearing that there's too many.
- Nicholas peeks out the church doors and reports what he sees. He spots a sword in the middle of the herd and states that someone is about to die.
- Aaron and Eric leave their house to help kill the walkers, Holly spots the commotion and helps out too.
- Abraham and Rosita step out their house, armed and start going to town on the herd. Rick and Michonne spot this and are able to rest for a second.
- Eugene urges Gabriel to stop being scared and help out because they need him. If they each kill ten, then it'll all be pretty much over.
- The residents of Alexandria continue working together to kill the herd of roamers. Abraham tells Eugene to rest. Eugene however believes this to be a story people will tell and wants to be apart of it. Rick starts to get distracted by the thought of Carl but is brought back by Michonne.
- Andrea spots the commotion happening inside the walls as the survivors kill the remainder of the herd.
- After a long hard fight, the survivors have successfully killed every roamer within the walls. The fight isn't over yet as more roamers are coming through the hold in the wall. They take a breather and continue to kill the last of them. Andrea's group show up at the main gate and celebrate the herd thinning out to much. They're amazed at how many have been killed from within the walls and help out with the remaining few.
