59 delegates arrived in Washington on the Brazos. The delegates began on March 1st. George Childress wrote the Declaration of Independence. They wrote the constitution of Texas.They elect Sam Houston commander of the Entire army. They elected David Burnet was made president, Sam Houston was made leader of the army, and Lorenzo de Zavala was vice president. They sent Steph F.
