(it was the last battle of the texas revolution) Houston had been running and after many months had made it near buffalo bayou and set up camp near an area with many trees. Soon after the Mexican troops came and set up a barricade and Houston sent Deaf Smith to destroy Vince’s bridge. Then, while the Mexicans were taking a siesta the Texans after deciding to attack, came to the Mexican camp and fought the Mexicans the battle only lasted 90 minutes.
