17 juin 1775 - =+-+=The Battle of Bunker Hill=+-+= June 17, 1775 This battle was fought on Breed's Hill during the Siege of Boston. The reason it is called the Battle of Bunker Hill is that at the time, the British were targeting Bunker Hill when in reality, they were not. This ended in a British victory, but it took a heavy toll on them too.
