James Fannin, Santa Anna, José de Urrea, Sam Houston -James Fannin and his men were in a prairie resting when the Mexicans soldiers attacked them. To stay safer they made themselves into a square formation. James Fannin surrendered hoping to keep him and his men safe. He later made 3 requests to the army, they were to give his watch to his family, to shoot him in the heart, and to give his belonging to his family.
