The Battle of Gonzales was led by Domingo Ugartechea, and it was the 1st battle of the Texas Revolution. The battle was over a cannon that was given to the Texans by Franciso Castenada who led the Mexicans troops. This was weapon was used to protect themselves from Native Americans.
