Led by General Sam Houston, the Texan Army engaged and defeated Santa Anna's army in a fight that lasted just 18 minutes. They did this by catching them off guard when they were taking a siesta. The “Twin Sisters” did a lot of damage to the Mexican Barricade Allowing the Texans to slip through. With the Mexicans retreating they played hide and seek for multiple days, but then found Santa Ana In a Common Military Suit
