On October 9, 1835, the Texian commander George Collinsworth decided to march on the Mexican fort at Presidio La Bahia in Goliad So with 125~ish men he marched thinking General Cos was there with $50000 pesos in funds instead they found Colonel Juan López with only about 50 men. But they still marched towards Goliad and Defeated the Mexicans in 30 minutes get some key ammo and supplies 3 Mexican casualties and 3 injured. On the Texan side, 1 Texan injured.
