When times were good during the last decade the McKeesport Area School Board cut taxes. What seemed to be a good political move at the time cost the McKeesport Area SD 12 million dollars, one of the biggest deficits in their history. In an effort to offset this deficit McKeesport Area SD proposed selling idle school properties and collecting taxes from the five municipalities the district serves (McKeesport, White Oak, South Versailles, Versailles and Dravosburg).Ajouté au bande de temps:
