Earlier in the day, White House spokesman Hogan Gidley says the Trump administration will reject requests for Trump's returns because of Trump's claim he is under audit.[152] No law actually prevents tax returns from being released due to an audit, as emphasized by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue.
