14 janv. 1773 - Enclosure Act of 1773

Description:

Being a response by nobles to the new techniques discovered in the agricultural revolution, the enclosure act helped boost the production of crops and plants around Britain and lead to more food for the nation. This had the side effect of making there be less chances to farm and forced many poor farmers to find wage earning jobs both in the city and out. It was a direct step towards the industrial revolution and as it spread across europe it had similar impacts around the nation. By stirring up demographics and leading to major economic and social differences the Enclosure Act was a milestone in european change.
