Juan Ordonez Jr., 18, who was driving a vehicle involved in a deadly crash May 5, has been charged with vehicular homicide. Authorities report that Ordonez was traveling at a high rate of speed, and that his blood alcohol level at the time of the accident was 0.12. The legal limit in New Mexico is 0.08. The crash caused the death of an 18-year-old passenger in his vehicle, who police did not identify.
