Thermonuclear devices with a maximum yield of 1,2 megatons (1200 kt). The B83s are the most powerful free-fall weapons in the US arsenal in which there are 650 of them. This model was also the first designed from the start to avoid accidental detonation.The measurements of these bombs are 3,7 meters in length, 46 cm in diameter and weigh about a thousand kilos.
