24 mai 1856 - Pottawatomie Killings

Description:

John Brown and some of his associates murder five men that were in support of slavery. The murder of the five men helped the start of the Civil War by sparking fear of the North in the South. Many slave owners feared that abolitionists would attack them and caused further separation of the regions.
