Description:

1. This outlawed discrimination in housing based on race, religion, national origin, and sex.
2. LBJ signed this into law. The death of MLK Jr sparked protests that encouraged its passing.

4. Many black Americans faced extreme difficulty buying or renting a house. MLK's death pushed the act through Congress faster
5. Housing should've been desegregated but many areas remained segregated.
