Description:
1. This act extended the provisions for another 25 years and expanded anti-discrimination voting laws.2. It was passed by Ronald Reagan, and many groups such as the NAACP lobbied for it.
3. It was signed into law in DC
4. Discrimination based on race had continued and the Supreme Court had sided with the government.
5. Article 2 of VRA was made permanent
