Description:
In August 1923 an election was held, the Pro-Treaty won. The war left the Irish Polarized, butthere was still hostility between the Irish and what was left of the IRA. Authorized imprisonment and execution during emergency circumstances.1,500-2,000 people were killed. Anti treaties came to power in 1927 but were demolished peacefully in 1934.
