Description:
They attempted to flee France to avoid being executed and to launch a counter-revolution with the help of Austrian forces. Due to being recognized near the boarder the attempt failed.They third estate likely would have been infuriated by this because the monarchs were jumping ship instead of trying to fix the problem.
