On the final test of Grade 5, I got the highest ever in my primary school. I got the top-ranked mark: 100 for Math, 98 for Chinese, 100 for English and 97 for Science. As a praise, my parents took me a pleasant one-week journey to HongKong. I also got praise of my relatives, classmates, and teachers of each subject. I deserved what I have paid for. The foremost reason why I could get a satisfactory grade was that I exerted myself and spent much time on study. I was studying while others were playing. When others were studying, I was study even harder than them.
According to the Theory of Mind in childhood, at this stage of time, children understand that if people want something, they will try to get it. It was because I knew that if I would try my best to do something, I would get rewards such as good grades, verbal praise an so on. Even though somethings I may think that I could hardly get rewards like what I said even if I have poured my effort to try something, I always console myself thinking better do than never.
