26 déc. 1776 - Battle of Trenton
Description:
George Washington crossed the Delaware river in the early morning and him and his men ambushed the Hessians who were still sleeping off their Christmas celebration hangovers. The Hessians quickly surrendered. This continental win reinvigorated the colonies who weeks earlier were doubting the success of the revolution. The Battle of Trenton was a favorable event for the colonists.
