16 déc. 1773 - Boston Tea Party
Description:
The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the Sons of Liberty lead by Samuel Adams in response to the British giving the British East India company a monopoly on the selling of tea in the American colonies. This event was unfavorable to the colonists because it resulted in the Coercive/Intolerable acts rather than a repealing of the tax on teas as they had hoped.
