7 oct. 1763 - Proclamation line of 1763
Description:
The Proclamation line of 1763 was an act passed by the British in response to Pontiac's rebellion where all British forts West of the Appalachians were torched to the ground. It was unfavorable for the colonists as it kept many disenfranchised people from acquiring land which they had fought for and which was necessary at the time to vote.
