Description:

In a fundamentally Catholic world, it was considered fact that everything in the universe revolved around the Earth and that it was flat. But in 1519, Magellan sailed across the world to the Philippines without falling off the theoretical edge, to many, this proved that the Earth wan not flat and sparked more and more circumnavigation missions. This discovery would in turn support the Scientific Revolution in that not everything that the Church or the Bible says may be true.
