Description:

An information match was established between Housing New Zealand Corporation (HNZC) and the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). This involved HNZC supplying MSD with tenant information which was then used to check benefit entitlements and to enforce collection of benefit debt. [Note: Tenants of HNZC properties were not eligible for the Accommodation Supplement or the Student Allowance Accommodation Benefit.]
