Description:

The Altair 8800 was the first home computer, invented by MITS in the 1970s. The idea of home computers as a whole transformed the usage of computers at the time. It introduced the games "Pong" and "Kill the Bit" to computing, thus beginning the dawn of the modern multi-billion dollar industry of video games. Finally, it can also perform binary calculations. As we know from previous items in the timeline, binary has been around for a few millennia and is still affecting computing.
