The Game Cube was the next advancement from Nintendo to show how they had improved their 3D games and graphics. The Game Cube had it's own type of disc which helped prevent piracy. Furthermore, the Game Cube was able to run high quality 3D games for it's time, however was limited and not able to run open worlds. However, games like Super Mario Sunshine avoided this problem by cutting it's game up into levels that could be accessed via the hub level. The game looked amazing for it's time, and brought new mechanics like the FLUDD that fans have loved since the games release.
