He left uranium on a photographic plate, subsequently making them exposed.
This led to the accidental discovery of radiation. He described radioactivity as penetrating rays.
His two students Marie and Pierre conducted experiments based on the discovery made. Later, Curie & Becquerel accepted the Nobel prize for innovation in science.
