Description:

Andreus Vesalius proved Galen wrong regarding the Jaw bones and his claim of it being two bones. He also proved that blood flows through the septum in the heart. He published 'The Fabric of the human body' in 1543 his work encouraged others to question the work of Galen and not to take old medical scripts for word without questioning them.

Andreas Vesalius was a 16th-century Flemish anatomist, physician, and author of one of the most influential books on human anatomy, De humani corporis fabrica. Vesalius is often referred to as the founder of modern human anatomy.
