On November 9, 1989, Soviets announced that people were now free to cross the border between East and West Germany. This was a monumental moment because West and East Berlin had come to an agreement and the relations had changed between both states. This event is marked blue because it's a time where democracy would infiltrate the Soviet defenses. Also, it would mark a time where Communism start fading.
