This was the first bill signed by Obama.This act allows people who face discrimination to seek rectification under federal anti-discrimination laws
It also clarifies that discrimination on age, race, religion, sex, and disability is deemed discriminatory.
The importance of this is that it was a step for equal pay for women and people of color, Unfortunately, women especially people of color still get pay less then the white man does
