In opposition to these developments, mothers took to the front of la Casa Rosada to protest the disappearances children and husbands.Three of the founding mothers of La Plaza de Mayo were thrown alive out of an airplane. However, the mothers were not deterred. They kept protesting about the disappearances until the end of the regime (and even to this day).
