Description:
The Battle of the Alamo (Feburary 23, 1836) was a turning point in the Texas Revolution. Even though the Alamo's defenders lost the battle, the song Remember the Alamo led many Texans to join the fight for an independent Texas. Fueled by their desire to defeat the Mexicans the war ended on April 21, 1836 at the battle of San Jacinto. (This led many American settlers to flock to Texas to farm.)Ajouté au bande de temps:
