1 janv. 1913 - 1913 - The day before Woodrow Wilson's inauguration, a march on Washington for women's suffrage was organized to protest the continued lack of federal suffrage for women. The women's suffrage thus kicked into high gear, arguing that if a woman is to care for her family, she must do so politically as well as domestically. Some suffragists even employed the violent tactics that were more common in Britain at the time.
