7 mars 1936 - Germany occupies the Rhineland
Description:
On March 7, 1936 Hitler sends troops in to occupy the Rhineland which results in no repercussions from the League of Nations even though Hitler's actions were directly against the Treaty of Versailles. Because the League of Nations did not properly punish Hitler he would continue his efforts to unite all the German speaking people, even if that means war.
