Description:
The American People find out about the bombings of Cambodia (Operation Rolling Thunder) and are furious. Students begin protesting at Kent State, and the Ohio National Guard is sent in to break up the protest. After the guard throws tear gas into the crowds, they begin marching up the hill. Halfway up, 9 National Guard Troops turn around and fire into the crowd. 4 people die and another 9 are injured, with one person becoming paralyzed for life. The Kent State Massacre results in the repeal of the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution.
