The 2000’s saw the end of physical discs and the start of internet streaming. It began with Napster back in the early 2000’s where people had uploaded music to the service and people could stream it to their device and listen to it for free. This caused a lot of trouble for artists, as this was piracy. However the method behind it is very popular today.
