Description:

The communists finally overthrew the Nationalists from power. The leader of the Nationalists, Chiang Kai-shek, fled with his supporters to Taiwan. The Nationalists formed a government there. Meanwhile, the communists formed the People's Republic of China. 1 million Chinese people were killed during this, and the USA did not support China's new government.
