Babur (r. 1526-30), Humayun (r. 1530-56),Akbar (r. 1556-1605), these first 3 Emperors built up the Mughal empire, only later to be slowly ruined at the effects of Aurangzeb (r. 1658-1707) who outlawed Hinduism, conquered the Deccan while ignoring the rest of his country and gave permission for the British to have a permanent trading post in Bengal, leading eventually to England colonization of India.
