The Defenestration of Prague, was an event that led to the beginning of a Bohemian revolt against the Habsburg emperor Ferdinand II, which marked one of the opening phases of the Thirty Years' War. Two catholics found guilty of violating religious rights, were thrown out of a window 3 stories up, althought they survived.
