8 août 499 av. J.-C. - The Greco-Persian wars begin- The Persian Wars were, a series of wars fought by Greek states and Persia over a long period of time. The fighting was most intense during two invasions that Persia launched against mainland Greece. When the Greeks won it made Greek culture and political structures live long after the defeat of Persia.
