26 mai 1946 - Czechoslovakia Becomes Communist
Description:
Due to a majority vote within their country, a communist-believing ruler was elected for Czech. This was the first real showing of the spread of communism in Europe, as Czech was one of the first countries to turn communist due to an election. This showed that the People were being heavily brainwashed and influenced by the USSR, and that even electing countries could elect a communist ruler. This was one of the first signs that Communism was actually becoming a very real threat, and that it had the possibility to infiltrate any preexisting government.
