10 mai 1775 - The Second Continental Congress succeded the First Continental Congress and was a meeting of delegates from the 13 colonies. This was significant as it was this meeting that decided the creation of the continental army to fight off the might of the British military, It also managed the war effort and finnancial matters without taxes.
