17 mai 1931 - Five year plan to industrialize and collectivize agriculture of Russia is instituted
Description:
This five year plan was for the development of the National economy of the Soviet Union (USSR). This consisted of a series of nationwide economic plans. Several of the Soviet plans did not take up the full period of time planned. Some plans were successfully completed while others failed to succeed or were abandoned. The reason the Russians did the five year plans was so they could achieve rapid industrialization of the Soviet Union. They wanted heavy focus on heavy industry.Ajouté au bande de temps:
