8 nov 1923 - Beer Hall Putsch
Description:
The Beer Hall Putsch was Hitler’s first attempt at seizing control of the German government. Though it ultimately failed due to disorganization after Ludendorff’s missteps, Hitler’s subsequent trial was highly publicized, allowing him to spread his message and get his name in the spotlight for the first time. His imprisonment set him up as a sort of martyr for his party, increasing his popularity even more.
