Description:

Mormon again writes to his son, Moroni. In this letter he laments the wickedness of the people, describing the most fowl and abominable sins that man can commit. It was written immediately after the Nephites had lost a battle to the Lamanites, but before the general route that had occurred in this year.
My placing of this epistle is speculation, but is based on textual evidence of the state of the people and the events that are alluded to.
