6 nov 1937 - Italy Joins Anti-Comintern Pact

Description:

This was an anti communist pact, originally concluded between Japan and Germany in November 1935, then between Italy, Germany, and Japan. It was directed against the Communist International, specifically the USSR. However, the pact was broken by Germany in Aug 1939 when Germany signed the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact with Russia. On 25 Nov 1941, after the start of the Russo-German war, the pact was renewed with a greater number of participants; Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Romania, Slovakia, and a few other nations.
